Arthur R. Kneifel, 85 of Kouts passed away Friday, October 16, 2015. He was born December 17, 1929 in Kouts, the son of the late, Arthur B. and Clara (Faulkner) Kneifel. Art was a 1947 graduate of Kouts High School and a US Army Veteran. He was a farmer and also retired from the Kouts Post Office after 38 years as a carrier. Art is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kouts and loved spending time with his family. On July 10, 1954 in LaCrosse, Art married Shirley Reinhardt who survives along with their children, Deborah (Mark) Good of Morgan Twp., Ken Kneifel of Rochester, and Keith (Michelle) Kneifel of Kouts; 11 grandchildren, Sarah Bryan, Dr. Jason Good, Kelli Duttlinger, Angela, Justin, and Daniel Kneifel, Conrad Warder III, Nicole Amor, Marlie Kellerman, and Courtnie and Ashlie Kneifel; 19 great grandchildren; and brother, Donald (Nancy) Kneifel of Kouts. He was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Viola Tolliver, Helen Lippert, and Doris Earle.
