William Maurice (Bill) Jost, 72, of Owensville, Mo. passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
William was born in High Gate on October 22, 1942, to the late Maurice D. and Genora (Spurgeon) Jost. On Sept. 29, 1962 in Owensville he was united in marriage to Ruth Rogers.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Frasure.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville. Funeral services will be on Friday, October 16 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Carter officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery near Cuba.
