Erik Thorsten Lindberg passed away in Salmon Arm, July 26, 1976. Funeral services were held from the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 3, with Rev. W. Harkema officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Ida Cemetery, Salmon Arm.

Pallbearers were: Dale Seaman, Frank and John Siemens, Bill McMillan, Pat Doran, Evan Jones, Clare Foster.

Born at Hay Lakes, Alberta, on April 28, 1906, Mr. Lindberg had been a resident of the Notch Hill district since 1961.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie; three daughter: Mrs. Lang, Oyama; Mrs. Jim Handchuh, Kamloops; Mrs. Jurgen Stolte, Edmonton; one son, Gary Lindberg, Kamloops. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. (Salmon Arm Observer, Salmon Arm, BC, August 5, 1979)
