Born in Rextown, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Roth. A farmer for many years, he was a member of the Slatington Lodge No. 624, IOOF. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Elverda Semmel. Surviving is the son, Allen, at home.
