Albert Lee Whittington (Robert), 53 of Willingboro, NJ died Friday at Lourdes Medical Center, Willingboro.

Born in Hamer, SC, Robert as he was known received his high school education in Ewing Public Schools graduating from Ewing High School.

Robert was an honorably discharged United States Army veteran serving in Germany. He was a member of the American Legion and was employed as a maintenance mechanic by the Graham Packaging Company, Bristol, PA for the past 15 years.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 27 years, Martina Langhammer Whittington, of Willingboro, father, John Henry Whittington of Philadelphia, mother, Estelle Whittington of Ewing, mother-in-law, Margit Langhammer of Germany, three sisters, Nora and husband, Joe Tapia of CA, Doris Whittington of CA, Lisa Whittington of Ewing, three brothers, John Henry (Sam) and wife, Jennie Whittington of Willingboro, Edward and Ernest Whittington of Ewing, two half sisters, Mary McRae of Jersey City and Queenie Mae David of Baltimore, MD, great aunt, Lula Belle McKellum, of Hamer, SC, aunts, Annie Mae Brown, Nancy Rogers, Nellie Davis all of Trenton, Alberta MacNair of Phila., Virginia McMillian of Phila, uncles, Vernon Thompson and wife, Dorothy of Trenton, Robert C. McMillian of Dillon, SC, a special cousin, Annie Rogers and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at CAMPBELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1225 Calhoun St., Trenton, NJ
Interment will be in Brig. Gen. William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ
