Allen Walter Gebhardt was born on April 28, 1935 in Monango, ND to John and Matilda (Genter) Gebhardt.

Allen attended school in North Dakota. He worked various jobs over the years in Aberdeen and Redfield. Allen enjoyed collecting vintage cars and reading car magazines. 

Surviving Allen is one brother, Delmon (Judy) Gebhardt; one sister, Verna Greene; and numerous nieces & nephews.

Allen is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Arthur and Clarence Gebhardt; and three sisters: Elsie Nitschke, Irene Schock and Evonne Gilborne.
