Mrs. Mildred Kroeger, age 64, passed away suddenly at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. Lois Moberg, in Placentia, California on Monday
evening, April 9th. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Heermann,
she was born at Pilger, Nebr. on July 28, 1914 and moved to the
Hooper community following her marriage to Avillus Kroeger n April
10, 1935. She and her husband farmed north of Hooper.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Duane of Jackson,
Michigan, Dean of Omaha; two daughters, Mrs. M. J. (Janis) Hammerle
of Omaha and Mrs. Ronald (Lois) Moberg of Placentia, California and
eight grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Delbert
Heermann of Norfolk and Walene Heermann of Pilger; three sisters,
Mrs. Glen (Fern) Fruedenberg of Madison, Mrs. Allen (Lorna)
Splittgerber of Wisner and Mrs. Florence Boerner of Denver,
Colorado.

Funeral services are to be held at the St. John's Lutheran Church
in Hooper on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Rev. K. W. Ernstmeyer
officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Warne Funeral home in Hooper on Friday
from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 12:30
p.m. till the time of service.

Hooper - Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Kroeger, 64, of Hooper
will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church here.

Mrs. Kroeger died unexpectedly Monday while visiting relatives in
California.

She was born in Pilger July 2, 1914, and lived there until her April
10, 1935, marriage to Avillus Kroeger. The couple farmed north of
Hooper.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Duane Kroeger of Jackson,
Mich., and Dean Kroeger of Omaha; two daughters, Mrs. M. J. Hammerle
of Omaha and Mrs. Ronald Moberg of Placengia, Calif.; eight
grandchildren; two brothers, Delbert Heermann of Norfolk and Wallene
Heermann of Pilger; three sisters, Fern Freudenberg of Madison, Mrs.
Allen Splittgerber of Wisner and Mrs. Florence Borner of Denver,
Colo.

Rev. K. W. Ernstmeyer will officiate at the funeral services.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 2-9 p.m. at Warne Funeral Home in
