Mr Koch died Wednesday at St. Luke's Hospital after an illness of several months.
He had been a self-employed corn sheller and recently was employed by Lund Implement, Walcott.
He married Norma Paustian in 1929 in Davenport.
He was a charter member of the Walcott Lions Club, a 50-year member of Walcott Knights of Pythias and a former president of Walcott Community Club. He also belonged to Davenport Moose Lodge No. 28.
Survivors include his wife, and sisters, Mrs Elmer (Lulu) Feuerbach and Luverna Mattausch, both of Davenport.
