Bertha Minna Waterman Mar. 15, 1911 - Feb. 13, 2004 Bertha requested no services or donations on her behalf. Her remains will be with her husband, Ward Waterman, at East Lawn Cemetery in Sacramento, CA. He passed away in 1986. Bertha was born on March 15, 1911, in Sacramento, CA and passed away February 13, 2004, in Bakersfield. She proudly served for many years as a member of the Bakersfield Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Also, she was a long-time devoted member of the Guild House, where she served on the menu committee. Working there was right up her alley, as she held a bachelors degree in Home Economics from San Jose State University. Bertha is survived by her son, Robert, of Bakersfield; her younger sister, Eda Harper, of Walnut Creek, CA; her granddaughters, Lisa Duffy, of Spokane, WA, and Juli Waterman of Portland, OR, and two great grandchildren.
