LORENZ, Katheryn E. (O'Kazins) - Age 93, of Linden, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Lorenz was born April 29, 1917 in Flint, the daughter of John and Margaret (Cook) O'Kazins. She married Henry Lorenz June 5, 1937 in Flint and he preceded her in death December 23, 1971. She had resided in Linden for the past 11 years coming from Grand Blanc. Mrs. Lorenz and her husband owned and operated Reliable Roofing and Siding in Flint for many years.
Surviving are: daughter, Sandra and husband Michael Burns of Linden; daughter-in-law, Regina Lorenz of Fenton; four grandchildren and many great grandchildren; sister, Marion and husband Alex Eckerdt of Swartz Creek; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her son, Ronald Lorenz and three brothers and one sister.
