Marlas Nienaber, 87, St. Cloud Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waite Park, for Marlas M. Nienaber, 87, 41 Third Ave. NE, who died Saturday at St Cloud Hospital. The Rev. Chris Trussell will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Marias Nienaber was born April 20, 1906, in Devils Lake, N.D., to Thomas and Frances (Brennan) Litzinger. She married Frank Nienaber Aug. 6, 1935, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waite Park, and lived in the Waite Park and St Cloud area most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Waite Park.
Survivors include a daughter, Gwen Helms, New Castle, Wyo.; sisters, Gladys Meyer and Lavina Reding, St. Cloud; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, April 19, 1966; son, Donald, May 7, 1984; brother, Leslie; and sister, Arvella.
