Anna Veselka, 82, of Lacy Lakeview, passed away Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006, at a local hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Timothy Vaverek officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, at Bellmead Funeral Home.

Anna was born in Tours, Texas, to the late George and Clara (Wachsmann) Snider. She married Tony Veselka on Sept. 26, 1944, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Waco. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters of America, the Catholic Union of Texas and the K.J.T. She loved Big Band, Country and Czech music.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Anton "Tony" Veselka on July 25, 1994; two sons, Matthew Veselka on May 31, 2005, and Anthony George Veselka Jr. on July 25, 1951; and two grandsons, Dale Allen Krolczyk in 1995, and Nicolas Isaiah Veselka in 1991.

Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Krolczyk, of Cincinnati, Ohio; sons, Michael Veselka, of Waco, Albert Veselka, of N. Richland Hills, and Cecil Veselka, of Lacy Lakeview; sisters, Agnes Veselka, of China Spring, and Lillian Bayer, of Hewitt; grandchildren, Edie Brown, of Waco, and Jodi Daniel, of Fort Worth; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
