Paul Weidenhammer died Saturday evening, 23 Apr 1977, in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center where he had been a patient since March 3. Born in Reading on 20 Apr 1902, a son of the late William Irvin and Grace (Homan) Weidenhammer, he had been a signalman for the former Reading Co. Railroad for 52 years prior to his retirement in 1970.
He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Reading; F and AM Lodge #549, Reading, and the Brotherhood of Railmen.
Surviving are his widow, Clara M (Nicely) Endy Weidenhammer, and two step-daughters: Mrs. Virginia M Eyer, Sinking Spring, and Sylvia, wife of Hamon G Watson, Nogales, Arizona.
Also surviving are eight step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, and a brother Robert, and two sisters: Mrs. Ruth Flagg and Anna Weidenhammer, all of Reading.
