Frank “Spider” Calcagno, a native and resident of Gramercy, LA passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Southeast Louisiana War Veteran’s Home in Reserve, LA.
He was 89 years old and born on June 6, 1926.

He was a Navy Seabee and served in Okinawa in World War II. He was a member of Lutcher VFW Post 5852, American Legion Post 0383, and the Seabee Island X1.
He was a board member of the St. James Boat Club, and he was a charter member of the Gramercy Volunteer Fire Department, being instrumental in the physical construction of the first water pipes throughout Gramercy for fire protection.

Wife of 65 years: Nettie Lee St. Pierre Calcagno
Children: Belinda C. Rouillier and husband Nelson; Craig Calcagno and wife Mary; Keith Calcagno, and Jodie C. Simon and husband Gregg
Ten grand-children
Twelve great-grandchildren
One great-great-grandchild
Brothers: Anthony Calcagno, and Steve Calcagno
