Ernest Uehling, 56, Succumbs To Heart Attack
Ernest H. Uehling, Oakland farmer, succumbed to a heart attack
at
his farm home Monday. Born Sept. 25, 1903 at Oakland, he had
been
a resident of the community his entire life, and was prominent
in
farming and business activities.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon
at
the St. Paul's Lutheran church in Uehling, of which he was a
member. The Rev. Lester Lamm will officiate, and interment
will be
in Elim Lutheran Cemetery at Swaburg, with Wollmer & Warne
Funeral
Home in charge.
On Sept. 6, 1938, he married Irma Witte at Nashua, Iowa and
she
survives with one son, Homer at home, and a daughter Mrs,
(Mrs.
Kenneth Frank) of Lincoln. Also surviving are a brother, Ira
of
Uehling, and a sister, Mrs. Elmer Von Essen of Oakland. His
parents and one brother preceded him in death.
Mr. Uehling was a past Master of the A. F. & A. M of Oakland;
a
member of the Uehling Lions Club; former director of Consumers
Co-
op Assn. of Kansas City, Mo.; present director of the
Producers
Live Stock Assn. of Omaha; president of the Co-op at Uehling
and a
member of the Dodge County Soil Conservation District.

Last Rites Are Held For Ernest Uehling
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the St. Paul
Lutheran Church at Uehling for Ernest H. Uehling, 56, who died
at
his home last Tuesday. The Rev. Lester Lamm officiated.
Music was
by Irvin Stover, Charles Landholm and Ronnie Eastberg
accompanied
at the organ by Mrs. Clara Rinderhagen.
Pallbearers were Orville Uehling, Wayne Uehling, Robert
Golder,
Kermit Meyer, William Moseman Sr., and Harold Bergquist.
Interment
was in Elim Lutheran Cemetery at Swaburg.
