1928 - 2015Wanda Bernice (Brown) Embach ObituaryWanda Bernice (Brown) Embach, 86, found her wings and left this world to be with God Feb. 2, 2015. Wanda was born Sept. 30, 1928, in a small coal mining town in Roda, Virginia. Those fortunate enough to have known Wanda, know that she was a kind and generous soul who put everyone else's needs ahead of her own. After her husbands retirement, Wanda and Hank spent may years traveling across the United States and Canada in their RV and cruising the Caribbean and South Pacific islands. Wanda was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great- grandmother, to a very loving family whom she nurtured to the very end. She is preceded in death by her parents Mack and Minnie Brown (whom she cared for lovingly till they went to be with the Lord) and all seven of her siblings.She is survived by her soul mate of 55 years,Henry M (Hank) Embach, who will miss her more than words can convey;her four children,Nedra (James) Sinclair,Teresa Allen,Sandra (Troy) Taulbee andHenry Michael Embach;ten grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Her presence will be sorely missed by countless friends that will miss her smile, charm and dry but witty humor.The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to the Tampa Shriner's Hospital for Children at 12502 USF Pine Dr Tampa, FL which was a place near and dear to Wanda and Hank's hearts. A celebration of her life will take place at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at Strickland Funeral Home in Crystal River.Published in Citrus County Chronicle on Feb. 4, 2015
