"I'm a Veteran of World War I but I was in the Army a little less than a year", he said. Two Years Ago the Ripley Miss American Legion Post 81 Made Renzy Lee Cartwright a Member of the Post.

Will Ed Norton, Post 81 Adjutant, said at that time, "He is The Only World War I Veteran We Have and He Is Also The Oldest Member We Have In Post 81."

Kathy Thornton is an R.N. with Superior Home Health in Booneville and Renzy Lee is One One Of those that they Visit. "Mr. Cartwright is More Lively Than Many People Half His Age. He has been on Home Health Services, and Still Remembers Staff who have Helped with his Care in the Past".
"Mr. Cartwright is a Pleasure to Visit Because of his Ability to Remember the Past So Well. It Allows All of Us to Take a Look at Our Heritage." He's Reached....not only that 100th Birthday...but his 102nd Birthday.

And What Does he Attribute his Long Life To? He's Not Sure of That Answer, but He Said, "I Want To Live As Long As The Lord Will Let Me...To Live With My Family and All My Friends".
