Jacob's parents ( might be, Johann Philip and Maria Salome (Stephen) Schmoyer) immigrated in 1733 and settled in Macungie, PA. In 1740 Jacob married Maria Barbel Doll in Germany. Their children were; Maria Elizabeth, Joseph 1740, Johannes 1741 (could be John) (John was a Rev War Patriot and in the DAR database), Johan Michael 1743, Maria Margaret 1745, Maria Catherina 1747, Johan Peter 1748. Jacob immigrated in 1749. His wife died in about 1752. He second married Elizabeth Keiffer in North Carolina in 1752. Their children were, John 1752, Philip 1757, Daniel 1759, Elizabeth 1762, Jacob 1765, Catherine 1767.
