The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) announced that U.S. Army Private First Class Kenneth L. Bridger, 17, killed during the Korean War, was accounted for 26 Jan 2022.

In late 1950, Bridger was a Light Weapons Infantryman assigned to Company K, 3rd Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. He was reported Missing in Action on 30 Nov 1950, on the last night of his unit's stand at the defensive perimeter south of the Pungnyuri Inlet on the east side of the Chosin Reservoir, North Korea (the Battle of Chosin Reservoir). Following the battle, his remains could not be recovered. PFC Bridger is also remembered at the Korean War Veterans Memorial, see Find a Grave Memorial 118794181.
