Mrs. J. H. Stoever died Sunday morning about 8 o'clock at her home northwest of town, after having been afflicted several years with consumption. The funeral was held from the house Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and numerous neighbors and friends, among whom she was highly esteemed, were in attendance. Rev. S. T. Traubel conducted the services and interment took place in the cemetery near the church. Deceased was born in Germany, and had she lived until the day of her funeral she would have been 47 years of age. She came to America in 1885 and was united in marriage with Mr. Stover the same year. Besides her husband, six children survive her.
