Henry Oliver Stover, son of John Henry and Johanna Stover, was born on the home farm near Scribner, April 12, 1897. Henry was confirmed in the Lutheran Faith in St. John's Lutheran Church, northeast of Scribner on March 16, 1913. Here he continued faithfully until his passing.
His parents and one brother, John, preceded him in death. Relatives who remain to cherish the memory of a brother and uncle are; Anna, Mrs. Wm Luebker of Oakland; Fred, Rickie and Bertha, all of Scribner and a nephew, Vernon Luebker of Oakland.
