A rosary service will be at 7 p.m., Sunday, December 6, at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Marysville.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 7 at St. Gregory's Catholic Church.
Burial will be in St. Gregory's Catholic Cemetery.
Winifred was born to Joseph and Marie (Nieberding) Nietfeld on March 30, 1928 at Marysville. She graduated high school and attended Lincoln School of Commerce in Lincoln, NE. After completing school, Winifred worked for Nebraska Public Power District, 3 years before returning to Kansas and working as an office manager for Wassenberg Bottling Company.
She was a member of St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, Daughter of Isabella, Schroyer Homemakers, St. Gregory’s Altar Society and a woman’s card club. Her family and church were very important to her, as well as looking up family genealogy and St. Gregory Church history.
Survivors include her brother, John (Bernice) Nietfeld, Marysville; and nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Paul Nietfeld; and niece, Lucile Nietfeld Jenkins.
A memorial fund is established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary, Marysville.'
