Age 53, a resident of Millcreek Twp., son of the late Joseph and Loretta Velvet Lojewski. Lojo had worked for the Erie Bureau of Fire for over 29 years, and was an engine driver with the First Platoon of Engine Company #6. He was also an EMT, and a member of the Scuba Team with the Erie Bureau of Fire. He was a 1971 graduate of Tech High School and attended Penn State University. David was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. He enjoyed bowling, golf, tropical fish, and was an excellent artist.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly A. Lojewski, on November 2, 1998.
Survivors include his wife of over 29 years, CheriI DiLuzio Lojewski; a daughter, Jamie Lynn Zewe (Brian), of Erie; a son, Joseph Daniel Lojewski; a sister, Cathy Lojewski, of Erie; a brother, James Lojewski (Sherri), of Erie; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
