John Caluori Sr., 71, of 164 Venice Ave., a stone setter for the Dane Craft Co., Providence, for 15 years before retiring in 1977, died yesterday at the Veterans Administration Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Antonetta M. (Finelli) Caluori .
A lifelong Johnston resident, he was a son of the late Gustavo and Antonetta (Marzitelli) Caluori .
Mr. Caluori was a World War II Army veteran and served with the Corps of Engineers.
Besides his wife he leaves two sons, John Caluori Jr. of the Johnston Fire Department, of Johnston, and Michael J. Caluori of Madison, Wis.; a daughter, Mrs. Ann Carol Wheetman; two brothers, Samuel Caluori and Michael Caluori Sr., all of Johnston; five sisters, Mrs. Louise Vetry and Mrs. Angelina Montefusco, both of Providence, Mrs. Anna Zelano of Scituate, Mrs. Mary Army of Warwick, Mrs. Shirley Bonafiglia of Cranston, and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 8 a.m. from the Winfield Funeral Home, Rte. 116 North Scituate Village, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, at 9. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
