Opal was born May 4, 1917 in Saybrook, the daughter of C.H. and Gertrude Moore Burke. She married Julius Andreae on Sept. 22, 1939 at Covington, Kentucky. He passed away July 15, 1999.
Surviving are two half sisters, Louise Hodges and Lorene Atkins and several nieces and nephews
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dorothy Wrench and Evelyn Stauffer; one brother, Archie Burke; two half brothers, Merle Burke and Eugene Burke and one half sister, Ethel Taylor.
Opal and her husband lived on a farm south of Saybrook for many years, then later moved into Saybrook where they lived until he passed away. Then she moved to Westminster Village, Bloomington, for 10 years, then transitioned to Martin Health Center. She loved farming and enjoyed her John Deere tractors.
