David Beatty, 80, of Cleveland, Tennessee, died on Saturday, January 16, 2016.

He fought a long and courageous battle against cancer for over a year with many friends praying and seeking his healing. He was pastor of the Pine Hill Church of God in McDonald and was beloved by his little church out in the country. He was a gifted song writer, singer, pianist, and preacher.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann of Cleveland; children, Phillip and wife, Gina of Diamond Head, and Angela and husband, Christian; grandchildren, Abbigail of Pittsboro, NC; Christopher and wife, Keri of Charlotte and Brittany Gerken and husband Sean of Florida; and great-granddaughters, Kylie and Kelsey.

His funeral will be conducted by Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home on Ocoee St. Viewing for the family and friends will be on Wednesday, Jan. 20 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at the Dixon Center of North Cleveland Church of God on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 1 p.m. The Graveside service will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens of Cleveland.
