Eugene R Kipp, husband of Martha Miles Kipp; father of Gianval, Lessie, Stanley, Anna and Eber; son of Oliver and Sarah.
Eugene Kipp died at his home in this village Thursday afternoon of last week. He leaves a widow, two sons and one daughter. The writer lived a near neighbor to him and his family for a number of years and knew naught of him that was not good. He was a kind husband and father, a good neighbor and an excellent citizen. In the seventeen years that we knew him our friendship was never broken. The inscrutable ways of Providence are beyond human understanding, for only a comparatively short time ago Mr. Kipp was in the strength and pride of his man hood. He is gone from among us, but his memory will be cherished in the hearts of his beloved family and his many friends. The funeral was held from the M. E. church on Saturday, Rev. McAllister having the service in charge. The attendance was large. His family are heartbroken with sorrow and have the sympathy of all. Sincerely we mourn his loss, and offer this humble tribute to his many virtues and worth.
