Mrs. Ida Lutz, Once Of Lodi, Dies
Mrs. Ida Elizabeth Lutz, 81, of 1248 Stanislaus Street in Escalon, died Wednesday morning in a Merced hospital following a long illness. A native of Indiana; she has been living in Escalon since 1959. She lived in Lodi from 1922 until 1950.
She was the wife of the late Adolph Lutz; and the mother of Paul G. Lutz of Escalon and Mrs. Marie Donlon of Scarsdale, New York.
Other survivors include two sisters: Mrs. La Nora Bellman of Lodi, and Dr. Carl Wolf of Miami, Florida; and three grandchildren, Susan, Patricia and Tom Donlon.
Mrs. Lutz was a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Lodi and the Saron Lutheran Church of Escalon.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Wells Funeral Home. Rev. W.F. Schlueter of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church will officiate that service.
Burial will follow in Cherokee Cemetery.
