Kevin Martin Vickers, age 48, of Odessa, passedaway Tuesday, September 12, 2006 in Odessa. He was born April 23, 1958 in Iraan, TX to Don Vickers, Sr. and Vicki (Martin) Vickers.
Kevin married Shirley Elaine Steen February 23, 1993 in Odessa. He was a loving father and grandfather, known to the grandchildren as "Grandpa Kevin". He loved children. He was a hard worker. Kevin loved animals and spent much of his free time at the Ag farm. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed playing pranks and telling jokes. He also enjoyed riding his Harley. He was a member of the Living Word Church in Odessa. He worked as a fishing tool consultant in the oilfield.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, September 18, 2006 at Acres West Funeral Chapel with Reverend Freddy Steen officiating. Pallbearers will include: Charlie Renfro, Michael Voorhies, Eric Casrez, Koby Flowers, Josh Flowers, and Dylon Vickers. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Edwards and Duane Steen. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel of Odessa.
