Joseph A. Silvia, Jr, 64 years old died in his home on Thursday morning Feb 11, 2016 after a short illness. Born in Taunton son of the late Joseph and Naomi ( Aranjo) Silvia. He was educated in Taunton School and was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1968. He was a truck driver all of his working career and owned his own company, J A Silvia Trucking Company. He enjoyed riding Harleys. He is survived by his son Kirk R. Silvia of Taunton. He is the brother of two sisters, Reilly Silvia of Old Lyme, CT and Lisa Silvia of Sandwich, MA He is the uncle of Kinkade Knox- Silvia, Turner Knox-Silvia and Tate Knox-Silvia. Joseph was the step father of Kevin Wilbur, Keith Wilbur, Kenneth Silvia and the late Kyle Aranjo. He was the former husband of the late Cynthia ( Wood) Silvia Benson of TX. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St Andrew the Apostle Church, Taunton on Tuesday Feb 16, 2016 at 10 AM.
