On June 28, 1952, she married Michael Debre'. Along with their two daughters at the time, sister and brother-in-law (Anneliese and Karl Eppenbach) and their family, they first all immigrated to Montreal, Canada in 1958. Five years later both families moved to Port Jervis and Greenville, NY, living close to each other for many years before retiring to Hernando, Florida where they continued their life long tradition of being next door neighbors.

She had extraordinary knitting, crocheting, sewing and craft skills, knitting the most beautiful sweaters for her children and grandchildren and handcrafting untold exquisite projects. She worked for many years at Channel Master in Ellenville, NY and later for Skydyne in Port Jervis.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Michael, four children and their spouses, Erika H. and F. Daniel Myers III of Slate Hill, NY, Traude C. and William Ellert of Goshen, NY, Andrea J. and Paul
