JoAnn Moreland Begley, age 41, of Fairfield, died at Mercy Hospital of Faifield, on April 30, 1998. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on December 1, 1956, the daughter of Ernest and Ethel (Hamlin) Moreland.
She received her education in the Fairfield City Schools, graduating in 1975. She was a supervisor at the Dept. of Human services for fourteen years. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.
She is survived by her mother, Ethel Moreland Long of Hamilton and a son, Christopher Michael Begley of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina; two brothers, Charles Moreland and his wife Sue, of Hamilton, and L. Terry Moreland and his wife Anita, of Fairfield; three sisters, Patty Shiverdecker of Trenton, Vickie G. Moreland and her husband, Mark Brandenburger of Hamilton, and Pamela Sue Bartlett and her husband, Gary, of Atlanta, Ga.
Funeral services will be held at the Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Ave. at North D St., at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 2, with the Rev. Dennis Lewis officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Interment will be held at a later date in Rose Hill Burial Park.
