Edna was always an excellent cook and gardener. She entered produce at the South Dakota State Fair and won a best in show with her califlower. In a contest one year, the Governor of South Dakota received her homemade jellies.
She was active in local extension clubs and the Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aid. Edna loved books, especially history and remembered what she read.
Grateful for having shared her life are one daughter, Cheryl Hoseck and her husband Lyndon of Brandt, SD; two sisters-in-law, Adeline Moul of Sioux Falls and Marie Fjerestad of Custer, SD; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband Howard; a grandson, J.R. Hoseck; one sister, Alvera Mangels and her husband George; a brother, Herbert Fielhaber and his wife Anne; and her parents.
