David Wayne Gammon, 52, of Broken Bow, passed away, Sunday, February 28, 2016 in Idabel. David was born June 26, 1963 in Portland, Oregon, the son of Joe Gammon and Merle Tomlin Gammon.

He had lived in the county all of his life and was a truck driver for Jimmy Tucker Trucking for many years. He enjoyed cooking, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Merle Gammon; brothers, Rondall Joe "Bodie" Gammon and Rickey Gammon; sisters, Vickie Kay Gammon, Karen Jean Gammon and Merlene Gammon Whisenhunt.

His memory will be forever cherished by sisters, Sharon Townsend and husband, Barry of Huntsville, Alabama, Anita Jones of Wasilla, Alaska and Irma Allen and husband, Thomas of Atoka, Oklahoma; brothers, Earnie Gammon and wife, Charlene of Broken Bow and Dickie Gammon and wife Tammy of Broken Bow; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Battiest Cemetery in Battiest , Oklahoma.
