He was born Dec. 16, 1932, in St. Paul, the son of Paul and Ann (Collins) Anger. He grew up and attended schools in St. Paul, graduating from Harding High School in 1951. He married Shirley Bruhn on Aug. 22, 1953, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St. Paul. The family owned and operated the Virginian Supper Club in Ellsworth, Wis., for many years. In 1981, they moved to the Grand Rapids area where he was employed with Sandstrom's. He retired in 1999.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Memorial services: Thursday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, Cohasset, with the Rev. Bruce Engen officiating.
Burial: Pine Ridge Cemetery near Deer River.
