Adolph Albert Chrzan, 84, of Alpena passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016, at Alpena Regional Medical Center.
Adolph was born on May 23, 1931, in Posen, Michigan to the late Joseph and Josephine (Kuznicki) Chrzan. On November 7, 1954, he married the former Eva Mae Grzeskowiak. Adolph was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and going to the farm.
Surviving are his wife, Eva; 6 children, Diana (Robin) Zielaskowski, Denise (Danny) Thiem, Brian (Tina) Chrzan, Lori (Steven) Mischloney, Kevin Chrzan, Donald (Sherri) Grzeskowiak; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Eugene (Wendy) Chrzan; and 1 sister, Irene Donajkowski.
Mr. Chrzan was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Aloysius Chrzan, Anthony Chrzan, Theodore Chrzan, Bernard Chrzan, Floyd Chrzan, Leopold Chrzan; 3 sisters, Lillian Smith, Clara Szczukowski, and Virginia Konarzewski.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon with Rev. Polycarp Mblarawa officiating.
Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
