James Robert Cupp Jr. At 5:20 on February 28, 2016, after 64 years of living and loving hard, Jim’s heart quietly slowed to a stop surrounded in body and spirit by those he left to carry on. Jim was born on December 4, 1951 in Paulding, Ohio to Shirley Ann Robinett and James Robert Cupp Sr. In death, Jim leaves behind a loving legacy in his beloved, Lisa Bevers, along with children Jamie (Kenny) Wagers, Chuck (Chesica) Cupp, David (Linda) Cupp, Brittany Bevers, Courtney Bevers, and Dakota Cupp. Jim was Papa to grandchildren Heather, Leaha, Brittainy, Seth, Branden, Chelsie, Travis, Samantha, Amber, Nicole, Kristen, Savannah, Tristan and Jackson as well as great-grandchildren Kaylee, Kyle, Jessica, Lucas, Salma, Khambri, Addalynn, Nicholas, Autumn, Madison, Dresden and Terek Jim was big brother to Timothy Cupp Sr. of Bryan, Ohio, Tomara (Roger Rhoden) of Edgerton, Ohio, Laura Thomas of Bryan, Ohio, Susan Hudson of Bryan, Ohio, Twila Robinett of Edgerton, Ohio, Robert (Kim) Cupp of Defiance, Ohio, Tonya (Matt) Bockover of Elizabethtown, NC and Josh Coler of Bryan, Ohio. Jim also leaves behind his confidant and often partner in crime his uncle, Ronnie Cupp of Defiance, Ohio. Jim was preceded in death by his father, James Cupp Sr., grand-parents Hazel Ludwig, Harry Cupp, Jon and Hazel Miller and nephews Kenneth Cupp and Nathan Rhoden. Jim enjoyed spending time fishing, tinkering around the garage and house and sharing stories with family and friends. He worked in the RV industry for various companies and in various capacities until retiring in 2008 due to his declining health. At his request, there will not be a formal service but he asked that anyone that knew him take the time to spend a special moment or two with those they love because “your last chance just might be your last chance…” .
