ANGEL, Mina Jean Age 61 of Fairfield, went to her heavenly home at 5:35 AM on August 30, 2006 at University Hospital. She was born on March 28, 1945 in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of Mondy and Linda (Herald) Collie. Mina Jean moved to Hamilton in 1953 after the death of her father, and received her education in the local Hamilton schools. She was employed in various health care fields until her retirement. Mina Jean was married to Ray Bowling, and they had three children. She was a wonderful mother and Christian friend to all who knew her. Mina Jean was a member of the Princeton Pike Church of God. She later married Gary Angel. She is survived by five sons, Duke Bowling and his fiancée Phyllis Woods, Ronnie Lee Bowling, James Ray Bowling, James Reavis, and Alfred Paulding; grandson, Duke Stevie Ray Bowling, Jr.; two sisters, Helen Garrett and Aggie Shie; two brothers, Ray and Ronnie Collie; special aunt, Armina Walker; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; daughter, Linda Jo Bowling; and son, Steve Bowling. A graveside service will be held at Millville Cemetery on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at 2:00 PM. Brown-Dawson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
