Mrs. Floyd Adams, 80, of Jacksonville, a former Galesburg resident, died Tuesday at 7 a.m. at her home.
The former Rachel Walbert was born May 5, 1895, in Kentucky, and married Mr. Hubbard. He preceded her in death. She married Floyd Adams here March 31, 1951. He survives with a son, Martin Hubbard, Springfield; a grandson, two great-grandchildren, and a nephew, Lee H. Walbert, Galesburg.
Mrs. Adams was a member of the James T. Shields Women's Relief Corps, Eagles Aerie 518 Auxiliary, Women of the Moose 115 and the Academy of Friendship of the Moose.
Funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Williamson Funeral Home, Jacksonville, where friends may call Friday from 7-9 p.m. Graveside service will be held here Saturday afternoon at Linwood Cemetery.
