Born Nov. 1838 in Ind. Buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pvt. in Co. I, 16th Mo. Cav. 4/3/1863 to 13/6/1865.
confused Hiram Young and Nancy Gibson with Nevels Young and Nancy Combs. It appears Hiram & Nevels were brothers about 4 years apart in age, both from North Carolina, both marrying a Nancy in Floyd County, KY and both ending up in Wright County, MO. However as per the 1850 & 1860 Census, Eli appears to be the child of Nevels & Nancy Combs Young.
