She was born on August 5, 1930, in Austin, Texas to Louise Bowles and Oliver Eugene Olson.
Survivors include her sons, John B. French, Jr. and his wife, Kay and Randy French and his wife, Pam; daughter, Sandra Kotz and her husband, Stan; sisters, Jean Gray and Judy Fackler; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, John B. French, Sr.
