Bill was a member of Wolfchase Bible Church for over 20 years, serving the church as a trustee and treasurer. He was a chemical engineer with DuPont, only missing one day of work in his 41 years with the company. He entertained people with his Barber Shop Quartet group.
Bill is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jean Jenks; sons, Gary Jenks (Janice), Donald Jenks (Kay), Steven Jenks; step sons, Randy Cole (Cindy), Johnny Cole (Paula); ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by his first wife of 33 years, Louesa Jenks.
Graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery, Poplar Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice or the Memphis Jewish Home.
