Jack L. Heithecker, 81, of Vincennes, passed away at 5:10 pm March 23, 2016 at BridgePointe Health Campus.

He was born December 1, 1934 in Knox County to Julius and Bessie (Clinkenbeard) Heithecker.

Jack worked at Cargill Grain Elevator and retired from McCormick Incorporated. After retiring, he volunteered as a traffic guard at Washington and Vigo Schools. He was a member of the Old Cathedral, FOP, Civil Defense, and the Knights of Columbus, and also was an avid sports fan.

wife - Evelyn (Hill) Heithecker, whom he married on June 6, 1954
daughter - Karen Turner of Vincennes
grandchildren - Allyson (Rob) Murawski, Danielle Turner, and Justin (Andrea) Turner
great grandchildren - Aaron Brown, Samatha Ferguson, Emma Murawski, Isabella Murawski, Callie Turner, Laney Turner, and Halle Turner

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Monday March 28, 2016 at Old Cathedral Catholic Church with Rev. David Fleck celebrant. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
