Anna Marie Wild was born January 17, 1828 in Eubigheim, Baden, Germany. Her parents were Gottfried and Katherine Albrecht. She emigrated with her intended husband in 1853 to America and they were married in St. Louis in the same year. Two months later the couple came to Belleville, and she has lived here ever since.

The husband, Andreas Wild, a coal miner by occupation, came to his death by an accident, February 27, 1881; overcome by a sudden sickness he fell in a creek and was found dead.

Mrs. Wild has lived over 40 years in her home, 309 Centerville ave. She was an active member of the St. Paul's Church for 55 years, a charter member of the St. Paul's Literary Society.

She leaves as only relatives in this country 3 nieces:

Mrs. Maria Schuessler, Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Ernestine Saam, Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Anna Rehg, St. Louis, Mo.

The funeral will take place Thursday afternoon at 1:30 from the home of Mrs. Schuessler, 410 Mascoutah ave., to the St. Paul's Church and Walnut Hill Cemetery.
