Myrtle M. Albers, 89, of Union St., Lancaster, passed away on October 8, 2006 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on 28 Oct 1916 she was the daughter of the late Walter C. and Antonia Korn Albers .

She was of the Christian faith and a member of the A.A.R.P. Myrtle formerly worked at the Emmerich Grocery Store in Lancaster.

Survivors include her sons, Norman R. (Judy) Frick, Winter Haven, Fla., William W. Frick, Perkasie, Pa., and C.W. (Doreen) Frick; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Daniel Albers, Denver, Pa. ; and a companion, Leroy E. Emmerich, Lancaster.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Riverview Burial Park, Lancaster on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Richard H. Heisey Funeral Home is serving the family,
