Born in Duryea on June 25, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Edna Scheatzle Herbert. She was a graduate of Hughestown High School.
She had worked in the local garment industry. She was a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union.
She was a member of the former Blessed Sacrament Church, now Our Lady of the Eucharist Parish, Pittston.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Fina, in 2013; and sisters, Edna Mae Ostrowski and Ruth Serpe.
Surviving are her children, Patrick Fina and companion, Melissa Moran, Hughestown; Michael Fino and wife, Denise, Hughestown; James Fina and fiancée, Dee Dymond, Old Forge; and Donna Montagna and companion, Scott Pethick, Waynesboro; grandchildren, Michele Sebastionelli, Marla Roulinavage, James Fina Jr.; Ryan Fina; Kyle Fina; Michael Montagna; and Eric Montagna; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Cook, Ansonia, Conn.; brother, Edward Herbert, Blakeslee; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Lauren Argenio, Dr. Joseph Radzwilka, Dr. Robert Potorski, Superior Home Health, Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Golden Living Nursing and Rehabilitation, Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation, and the staff of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital for the compassionate care they provided to Arline.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Our Lady of the Eucharist Parish, 535 N. Main St., Pittston. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the church on Saturday morning.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
