Christine L. Peters, 89, of Muskogee, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday morning, April 26, 2016, at Brentwood Extended Care. Christine spent her last day on earth surrounded by her family and loving, caring staff of Brentwood Extended Care. She was born November 24, 1926, in Checotah, to Wade and Willie Catherine (Duke) Casey. She lived in several places, Kansas, Indiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. She retired as a chemist from Southern Steel and Wire in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Her favorite hobbies were reading, studying and gardening. She attended the Church of Christ in Muskogee until she became a resident of Brentwood Extended Care in Muskogee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Willie Casey; husband, Ed Ainsworth; brother and sister-in-law, Katherine and Tommy Smith; sister, Jean Graham; nephews, David Smith and Charles Graham Jr.; great-grandson, David E. Bates, and and son-in-law, Richard O. Eldridge. Funeral services celebrating Christine's life will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Bradley Belltower Chapel with the Rev. Bill Crow officiating. Burial will follow at Bower Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bradley Family Funeral Service of Muskogee.
