Sam Daubert, 85, of W3288 State Rd 64, Medford, Town of Browning, died on Sunday, October 9, 1994 at his home.

He was born in Carnegie, OK on January 22, 1909 the son of the late Gottleib and Anna Diel Daubert. He married Marcella Gertsberger in Rib Lake on August 29, 1936.

Sam worked for the Rib Lake Lumber Company for a time, and then he and his wife farmed in the Town of Corning from 1937 to 1976. He also worked for Fromm Brothers Fox Farm for a period of time, and for the Lincoln County Highway Department from 1949 to 1974, when he retired. The couple moved to Medford in 1976.

Survivors include his wife, Marcella of Medford; a son George (Luella) Daubert of Medford; a daughter, Sandy (Mike) Kummer of Medford; a brother, Herman (Mildred) Daubert of Milwaukee; two sisters, Mary Kluckman, Hampton, VA and Pauline Young of Merrill; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Fred and David and two sisters, Anna Hoss and Katy Ziembo,.

Funeral services were held on Thursday morning, October 13, 1994 at Community United Church of Christ, Medford. The Rev's Ron and Dot Francey will officiated. Burial took place at the Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.

The Hemer Funeral Home of Medford was in charge of the arrangements.
