Son of Matthias Miller, he married Rachel Shoemaker, the daughter of John Shoemaker, Oct 5, 1808, Timberville, Rockingham Co., VA. Their children were--Abraham Born: Mar 3, 1809--Died: Nov 11, 1876, Jacob G. Born:20 Aug. 1826--Died: 1867, Mary A. "Polly" Born: 1829--Died: Jan 26, 1914, Hannah; Henry Born: 1838,Timberville, Rockingham Co., VA., Nancy, Susan, & George JR. George Miller was supposed to have 22 children but we have only found proof of 7.
