Funeral services were conducted for John Wegman Tuesday morning at the Catholic church the Rev. W. E. Griffin officiating. Burial was In Calvary cemetery. Mr. Wegman was born July 18, 1855, in Wisconsin, and when eight years of age came to Olmsted county with his parents. For 71 years he lived on a farm in Dover township. He married Anna Lehnertz In 1880. He died Saturday morning after a short Illness. Besides his wife he is survived by 11 children and 42 grandchildren. There are six sons, Henry, Louis, John and William of St. Charles and Joseph and George of Rochester and five daughters, Mrs. A. J. Schleck, Mrs. Frank Miller and Mrs. Gustave Putzler of St. Charles, Mrs. Fred Walters of Altamount, S. D.. and Mrs. Peter Hoffman, of Garden Plains, Kan. Winona Republican-Herald July 5, 1934
